They are recorded each in their own block and attached as chronological data. So, the chain part creates order and provides insight into otherwise disparate data. It can be made so that each of these blocks, once created, cannot be deleted or altered. This aspect is important to ensuring traceability. So, in the case of produce traceability, visibility into the complete chain of products can help the AGRI supply chain participants identify where a contaminated food source might have come from or where it is going. Additionally the information in the cloud base is updated regularly using AI/ML, which will support farmers and field users in taking decisions on several aspects of farming like agronomy, nutrient, and crop health management.
